About the Piece

Problem Chaser is a linocut print made with archival ink that captures the shift from joy to fatigue in the act of helping others. A dog chases a ball—embedded in the phrase “I’m tired chasing everyone’s problems”—reflecting how something that once felt playful and fulfilling can slowly turn draining. The piece speaks to the emotional labor of being the problem solver, where care and responsibility gradually wear down the initial spark.
